Join a Winning Team!
The key to a successful Vacation Bible School program is a quality staff of volunteers. This year, God’s Big Backyard will need the help of over 300 people who desire to serve God and share the love of Jesus with children. Please pray for ways you can become involved in guiding our children to their maximum potential in serving others. We promise to provide excellent training and resources!
Why do you need me?
It takes 300+ volunteers, and over 19,000 hours, to make VBS happen for over 900 children! Adult and youth volunteers are needed from now until VBS is over in a wide variety of areas.
The VBS youth volunteer program is open to students entering 7th grade through 12th grade. Everyone can help our children discover what it means to serve others and take the love of Jesus into their homes, neighborhoods and communities. We promise you will be blessed by serving!

Am I qualified to be a Teacher?
If you have a love for children and the desire to put Christ in their hearts - you can teach. The Bible-based lessons are highly interactive, with easy activities. You will be provided with teacher-friendly lesson plans, ideas and materials to ensure your success. Each classroom has a minimum of three volunteers. Class time consists of two 30-minute sessions each day. We promise to provide encouragement and support!
