STUDY OF THE APOSTLES’ AND NICENE CREEDS
Why do we have two creeds? Are the differences important? This class will examine the origins of the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed, including events in early Church history that caused them to be written. We will also look at what we are confessing to when we recite the creeds in church. Elliott Gappinger will lead this 4 week class.
THE PURSUIT OF GOD
This 4-week class is an overview of the book by the same title, now considered a classic. A. W. Tozer, the author, described it as “a modest attempt to aid God’s hungry children to find Him”. His concern is that we not merely know about God but that we also experience Him in our lives, even in the midst of our daily routines. Pastor Peters will lead this class. Cost of the book is $9.
BOOK OF EPHESIANS
Paul takes us to the mountaintops of Christian truth and invites us to look at the breathtaking view! When we do so, we see that it is Jesus Christ who dominates that view. We see him breaking down the wall between God and humanity. In conveying this vision Paul demonstrates how God, out of his love and glory, calls people to be reconciled to himself and to one another through the cross of Christ. Join Eric Swanson for this 4 week study. Learn how you can apply these principles to your own life.
