Dear Sisters in Christ,

This year in Women’s Ministry we would like to introduce the B²S Principle. It involves Belonging ... Believing ... and Serving.  Much like we need to promote healthy living, we also need to advocate a healthy spiritual life. We use O2 (oxygen) and H2O (water) to survive, and we need the B²S Principle to thrive.

Just as we use oxygen to sustain us, we can utilize the family of God to breathe new life into our hearts. We need to BELONG to the body of Christ, enjoying fellowship with other Christians who will encourage our growth and development.

For a healthy diet, it’s recommended that we drink 8 glasses of water a day.  It is also vital to our existence to immerse ourselves in Bible studies and other activities that will nourish our faith and aid us in  BELIEVING the Word of God.

Along with oxygen and water, our bodies need physical exercise to maintain  a certain degree of fitness. A regular habit of active service to others will enable you to live more fully and have a life that is enriched. By SERVING others you are really SERVING God, and you will truly be able to flourish.

In Women’s Ministry, we have a  variety of opportunities to support the B²S Principle. We’ve broken the list of Women’s Ministry activities into the three components:
    Belonging—Believing—Serving
It’s our hope that you will plug into all three of these life- changing categories. It is also our goal that you will bring some-one who needs the joy of knowing Christ to La Casa and offerthem the same family of God, rooted in Love.

So let’s breathe deeply and have a great year!

Faithfully,
Your Women’s Ministry Staff
