Celebrate Being a Woman

Remember lunch recess with your childhood girlfriend? Sitting with your brown bag, sharing secrets and swapping sandwiches? It’s recess time again on Saturday, May 10, from 10:00am until 1:00pm. Revisit that cherished era---and this time bring along your daughters, moms, girlfriends, grandmas, and neighbors. Come celebrate being a WOMAN!

Join us at La Casa de Cristo in the Fellowship Hall for an effortless day of brown bagging and bonding. The day will include:

All Dolled up – “Dress up” with tiaras, fun hats, jewelry, and boas, and have your picture taken with your favorite girl! Receive the picture the same day.
Toe Time – Arrive at this pampering station to relax and paint your tootsies, soften your hands, and relax your eyes.
My Favorite Things – At this station, you will find a fun memory book for each member of your party to fill out. This is a great time to share with each other and find out more about the special people in your life. This station is also an opportunity for you to see how we are each “favored” in God’s eyes.
Flower Power – Come create a special book (all materials provided). All you need to do is bring some of your favorite pictures of your favorite girls (daughters, mom, grandmas, aunts, girlfriends, etc.). One per family unit is provided.
Brown Bag Lunch – Bring a blanket and find an area inside or out and enjoy “recess” time again.
Flower Garden of Love – Stop by this station and help decorate a special mural in memory or in honor of those special “girls” in your life.
Encouraging Cards – Reach out to another woman in our area who is suffering with cancer, illness, or loss by creating an encouraging card. All materials are provided.

Tickets will go on sale at a cost of $15 (note change) each on Sunday, April 20, at the Women’s Ministry Table.
