Like dandelions blowing in the wind, the seeds of
change are constantly taking root in our lives.
As moms, we’re always striving to find new and better ways to nurture our children to become all that God intended. Somewhere along the way, we assume that we will become the mothers that God would like us to be. At La Casa de Cristo, it’s our goal to help you to realize your potential as a mom by nurturing YOU!
Moms and More provides a unique opportunity for women with children 6 years and older to continue their journey of motherhood. It’s a safe place for women to come and share the joys and frustrations of motherhood, and to explore the purposes and promises God gives to parents regardless of whether you’re married or single. It provides an oasis from the frenzied life of a busy mom.
Moms and More can help you become:
- Equipped for parenting through biblically based instruction
- Encouraged by sharing with other moms who are confronting similar challenges
- Energized by the loving support of both experienced moms and your own peers
Moms and More will be doing Heart Talk, Mom to Mom, a Bible study by Linda Schultz Anderson. It focuses on the core essentials of parenting, as well as your own personal development. It is designed to stimulate discussion and offers tangible applications for your families. It is our hope that Moms and More will cultivate relationships among women here at La Casa, providing a resource for encouragement and growth.

7:30-8:00 pm - Group Video
8:00-8:30 pm - Small Group Time
Moms spoke ... we listened! This year in Moms and More we will have a shorter meeting time, guest speakers, and the opening fellowship time is optional. “Chat-n-Chew” is a chance to visit and enjoy a simple snack together before the speaker starts. The study is broken into two semesters; six sessions in the fall, and seven in the spring. You can register for one semester or for the entire year. The small groups will be arranged by similar ages of your children and/or similar life circumstances.
Costs: One semester= $45.00
Entire year = $75.00 (Saves $15)
For as little as $7.50 per class you will receive the book Mom to Mom Heart Talk and a binder, listen to nationally-known Christian speakers, engage in lively discussions, renew your spirit, and further your quest to be the best as a Mom and More!
