The DTS (Discipleship Training School) 2007

Dear friends and family,
Ministry in our family takes many forms such as serving yummy pancakes to our DTS (Discipleship Training School) in our home for a Saturday morning veggie tale marathon! Everyone, including students from Costa Rica, Panama, Canada and the United States, devoured the pancakes in their pajamas while we continued to build relationships and share our family. The DTS is in the 6th week of the classroom phase. Ryan continues to fill his days with intense discipleship, one on one pastoral care, worship, small group times of fellowship, off campus ministry, service opportunities and classroom time. Sarah simply enjoys opening our home, caring for the students, and sharing the power of serving as a wife and mom.
God is touching the hearts of the students as they strive to "Know God and Make Him Known." Weekly classroom topics covered hearing the voice of God, inner healing from the past, building healthy relationships, the character of God, and it's just the beginning. Next week, the DTS will embark on a NIKO outdoor adventure to refine their character and challenge them physically, spiritually, and emotionally. For the next 6 weeks we will be pouring our heart into and discipling these students as they prepare for their 3 month outreach to the Amazon. Thank you for your prayers and support allowing us to see God move in amazing ways in the lives of our students.
As we continue to pour our lives into our students, please pray for
·
A refreshing for Sarah as she home schools and trains our warriors - Sarah
·
More self-control - Joshua
All our love,
Ryan, Sarah, Joshua, and Caleb
God to continue to work mightily in the lives of the students and staff - Ryan
