The JOY of Helping
La Casa de Cristo volunteers have helped serve up to 1000 noon meals on the first Sunday of every month at the St. Vincent de Paul dining room to the homeless and working poor. We are so grateful for these volunteers, who might say that by helping others, they bring themselves a sense of joy, peace, and accomplishment in their own life. Some even make it a family activity!
The next Sunday we are scheduled to serve is December 2, and you can sign up to help at the Information Table on Sundays. (Please be aware that the dining room requires all volunteers to be at least 14 years old.) If you have any questions, Call Sandy Bakke, 480-607-3377, or Sue Fay, 480-502-0065.
