La Casa de Cristo Lutheran Church: Social Outreach: UMOM New Day Center

UMOM New Day Centers offers basic necessities - food, clothing and shelter plus education, recreation, health screening assessments, job training and placements medical services and much more to homeless families.

UMOM’S Mission is to provide homeless and low-income families with food, shelter and tools to build a bridge to self-sufficiency. Their Vision is to be a leader in breaking the cycle of homelessness.

La Casa De Cristo Volunteer day will provide an opportunity to help and assist in the general clean up and maintenance of the property in Phoenix. The project will include, clean up, painting, general maintenance and landscaping. We will have the ability of impacting over 300 families with our “Love of Labor”.
