Easter Basket Outreach
With your help and participation Easter baskets, consisting of such items as: toothpaste, toothbrush, lotion, chap stick, wash clothes and much more, are assembled and delivered to local senior adult care facilities in time for Easter.
What started as ‘what if?’ has blossomed into a Christ-like display of love and compassion to these sometimes invisible members of our community!
Help us brighten Easter for nearby group home residents by filling and delivering Easter baskets filled with treats, personal supplies, and an Easter card! Empty baskets and a list of what to put in them will be available to pick up on Sundays, February 24 and March 2. Return filled baskets on March 2 and 9. Families are encouraged to sign up to deliver baskets on the morning of Saturday, March 15.
In addition to the baskets, voices from our youth choirs sing Easter songs for these elderly citizens.
