On this special day, international Childrens day, and Caleb’s 3rd birthday, we rejoice to share with you the beginning of a new ministry in our family.

KidzReach = Relationships Education Action Christ’s Hope
It began with 8 cents. Last October, during the annual missions conference at our home church, God blessed our family tremendously. A precious 5 year old, Kaitlyn, donated her change to help our family share the gospel with children around the world. Throughout the conference, and for the months to follow, God began to use the faith of a child to plant, water, and grow a seed in my heart.
Over the past 9 months, God began to flood me with ideas, vision, and a passion to mobilize children to reach their generation for Christ among the nations. We have seen firsthand the power of our little ones to open the doors for the gospel in Thailand, Costa Rica, Panama, Honduras, Kenya and of course the United States. When others on our teams have struggled to build relationships, our children have brought a sincere and powerful faith that has enabled them to reach many adults and children alike with the hope of Christ. This is not just for our little ones, I know that God desires to bless the nations through the faith of his children. After all, he sent an infant to change the world forever.
God has given us a name for this ministry, Kidzreach, kidz reaching their generation among the nations. Of course, this ministry will be through YWAM, the mission organization that we serve with. It will be in addition to our other responsibilities on the field, but under YWAM for accountability. We are seeking God for everything, every detail, every step because we know that without His direction, He will not receive all of the glory. Specifically, God has shown us that this ministry is to educate, empower, mobilize and instill a passion in the hearts of children (and their families) that they can reach the nations for Christ. Our family has been living this for the last 3 years, but God is now asking us to ignite a fire in the hearts of other families. The ministry will include kid friendly teachings via email each month, stories to inspire kids to share Christ, teaching children at churches when we visit in the US, equipping children to pray for unreached children around the world, hosting family teams in Costa Rica, and igniting a passion in children that God can use them to reach their generation.
This is new to us, amazing to us, and simply a blessing from God. I could never even imagine a ministry that combines my heart, spiritual gifts, passions, abilities and experiences to bring God glory. Thank you for investing in our family and enabling us to dream with God.
As we step out in faith, we need you! Specifically, we need your prayers! We want to begin this ministry on the solid foundation of prayer and therefore we are putting together a prayer team. If you would like to join the KidzReach prayer team, simply email us a note. Then, we will send you bi-weekly updates on what’s going on and specifics as to how you can pray. We would love a team of all ages, from kids and their families to mighty prayer warriors of many years. Did I mention, we would love kids and their families to join us in prayer J If God leads you to join us in prayer for the birth of this ministry, we would simply love it. We eagerly look forward to what God has in store.
