Sanctuary Choir

Rehearsal: Thursday evenings, 7:30-9:00PM
Age: Age - 9th grade through adults
Interim Director: Bob Boettger

The Sanctuary Choir is our largest music ensemble and is open to all 9th grade through adult singers, regardless of musical skill and prior experience. Rehearsals are fast-paced, fun, and educational. Drawing from an enormous variety of musical styles and genres, the Sanctuary Choir sings twice per month at the Traditional Worship services. The Sanctuary Choir also presents music at special events, concerts, and festival worship services.

Rehearsal
The Sanctuary Choir practices in the "Music Rehearsal Room"
with tiered seating matching the choir loft.

Cancion de Cristo

Rehearsal - Schedule Varies
Age - 9th grade - adults
Interim Director: Bob Boettger

Cancion de Cristo is our chamber vocal choir, offering a smaller and more demanding musical environment. This choir sings a variety of literature, although emphasis is on early music and a capella music. Because the group rehearses only twice before singing in worship, commitment to attendance as scheduled is required. Music reading and prior choral experience is also required to be a part of this ensemble. Cancion de Cristo sings approximately every 6 weeks, usually at Traditional Worship. A  very rewarding experience!

The Worship Team

Rehearsal - Wednesday evenings, 7:00 - 9:00PM
Age - Adults
Director - Lisa Milack, extension 1606, LMilack@LaCasaDeCristo.com

The Worship Team includes both vocals and instruments and leads music at our 10:30 contemporary worship each Sunday morning. Because of the unique structure of this group and the nature of the music they present each week, participation in this group is limited and requires a consultation with Lisa Milack, the group’s director.

Cuatro en Cristo

Rehearsal - Schedule Varies
Age - Adults

Cuatro en Cristo has long been a favorite group of La Casa members. Our men’s quartet, this group regularly offers music at all worship services. Although Cuatro en Cristo is normally comprised of four men under the leadership of Bob Boettger, the group occasionally expands to include more male singers for special events. To participate with this group, prospective singers should be able to commit to the rehearsal schedule as needed, be able to read music, and possess the ability to vocally blend in a choral group.
