This group is for our young adults, especially those who are beginning ringers. Basic instruction in ringing techniques is given at the beginning of the year, so each rehearsal at the early part of the season is vital! Members must commit to regular attendance at practice and be prepared to play at worship as scheduled.

Chime Choir
Rehearsal: Wednesdays, 5:00-5:45PM
Age: 5th-6th Grade
Director: Jamie Sue Schultz at 480-948-1234, extension 1605 Contact Jamie Sue Schultz
We use handchimes rather than handbells with our younger children because they are lighter and easier to handle than bells. The techniques are the same, so playing chimes prepares them to play bells as they mature. No musical background is required, but a firm commitment to attend all rehearsals is necessary. The children will play for worship several times throughout the year.
