Men’s Ministry strives to develop the men of La Casa into Strong Servants of Christ and each other.  This ministry exists for YOU and provides a framework of support for YOU to live our YOUR faith at home, work, and in the world.

May 17th, 2008 - Ken Matthews, LCdC member who has spent several years in rehabilation after many health issues and who is now confined to a wheelchair will speak of "Faith in the midst of Crisis".

We gather at 7:30am. Coffee is on at 7:00am. Make sure you RSVP so we have enough food and bring a friend!

February 23rd - Bob Smiley - a very special morning of Christian Comedy was enjoyed by all.

January 26th, 2008 - Mike Sanfratello - former NFL football player, Arizona Fellowship of Christian Athletes Director delivered a special program for our annual Father/Child breakfast.

December 8th, 2007 - Eric Swanson, introduced the La Casa "Growth Journal". We hope to have that as something you can download from the web site in the future.

November 17th, 2007 - Jennine Ulibarri, who heads the Women's Ministry Program for La Casa, became the first women to speak at the Hombres' Saturday morning breakfast - she spoke on "Finishing Strong with Your Wife".

October 13th, 2007 - "Finishing Strong" with Bob Boettger led us on his faith walk, tying it to the John Eldredge book Wild at Heart.

September 8th, 2007 - "Finishing Strong" with Bishop Steve Talmage.

August 18th, 2007 - We enjoyed a powerful presentation in pictures and words of La Casa's mission trip to South Africa. Presented by Ron Meister and the mission trip team.

May 19th, 2007 - Our guest speaker was Captain Jack Harris, Chief of the Phoenix Police Department. He is a member of our church and spoke on "The Crossroads of Faith and Law".

April 21, 2007 - Our guest speaker was Captain Jeff Solheim, a Chaplain of the Air Force National Guard. Captain Solheim is a graduate of Luther Seminary and is associate pastor of Our Savior's Lutheran in Mesa. An ordained ELCA Pastor, Captain Solheim ministers to those returning from Iraq and Afghanistan at the National Guard Armory in Phoenix and Luke Air Force Base.

March 24, 2007 - Pastor Kenny Luck of Saddleback Church. Kenny is an ECPA Platinum Award winning author, who has authored and co-authored 17 books, including RISK (which sixty La Casa men just studied in small groups) . His next book, DREAM, will be published this spring. Kenny led us through what it means to have core convictions as a man of God, how to defeat temptatation every day, and what it means to have an identity in Christ.
