Community Day a Success!

Wow! 300 La Casa members and friends participated in our first ever Community Day April 26th! Soon to become an annual tradition, members of the church fanned out across the Valley to ten sites...among the highlights:

  • Hope given to nursing home residents with a big party
  • Block walls knocked down and facilities repainted at shelters, transplant houses and community centers!
  • Our youth set a record at St. Mary's Food Bank with 1230 emergency boxes packed in two hours, their most ever by any volunteers!
  • Clothes sorted for distribution to Homeless.

And the list goes on!

La Casa had a great outreach into the community, and we know the name "House of Christ"  lived out the Gospel as we served the least and lost!
