Philosophy:
It is the philosophy and firm belief of La Casa de Cristo Christian Preschool that each child is a gift from God and shall be made to feel secure in God's abiding love and care.
Every child is a unique person with special needs and abilities. Our overall goal is to encourage the growth of the "whole child" through social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual development. A daily schedule which includes a balance of teacher-directed and child-directed activities serves to reinforce, enrich and challenge in an environment where each child is respected as an individual.
La Casa de Cristo Christian Preschool admits students of every race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarships, program and athletic and other school-administered programs.
Office Hours:
The office is open 8:00am to 3:45pm. If you need to contact the Preschool Office outside office hours, please do not hesitate to leave a message on the machine, which is checked often.

For two weeks from 8:45am to 11:45am our "cruise" will take us to several "ports of call" with lots of exciting adventures at each stop.

Preschool Registration for 2010-2011 School Year
Priority registration for continuing students and church members has been completed and those students have been placed into classes. Preregistered students will now be placed into available classes and letters of confirmation have been mailed and should be received by March 1.
New students to La Casa are requested to stop by the preschool office to pick up the student packet containing important enrollment forms, ie. immunization records, handbook, payment policy statement, and others. These forms are due back to the office by April 30 to assure continued class placement. Parent’s next contact from the preschool office will be in June by school newsletter. In August, parents will receive information regarding classroom/teacher assignments, classroom visits, tuition due, Parent Orientation, and the beginning of the new school year.
Registration continues for the 2010-2011 school year for those not yet enrolled. There are openings in afternoon 2day3’s, 4day4’s and 4day5’s classes. We encourage those interested to contact the preschool office for more information.

Next Parenting Workshop
Mark your calendars for April 12 at 6:30pm for the last in a series of parenting workshops offered on campus (in Room 307). The workshop, entitled "Tears, and Tantrums go to Giggles and Grins", will focus on stategies to survive the preschool years. Cost is $10 per family. Unfortunately, childcare is not available.
