October 25, 2011 LA CASA DE CRISTO CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL HOSTS COUNTRY FAIR
In celebration of the fall season, La Casa de Cristo Christian Preschool is proud to host their annual Country Fair during the week of October 25th. La Casa staff and parents spent weeks preparing decorations and artwork to be displayed in the gymnasium as the backdrop to music, games and activities enjoyed by each student. Students were also treated to prizes donated by La Casa families.
“We love seeing the excitement on our student’s faces as they enjoy each Country Fair activity” said Nancy Rose, who teaches 5 year old La Casa students. “It is terrific to see how involved all the parents are to make this event special for each of our students.”

LA CASA DE CRISTO CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL HOSTS OPEN HOUSE Amid anticipation and excitement from students, teachers, staff and parents, La Casa de Cristo Christian Preschool hosted a phenomenally successful 2011 Open House. La Casa teachers and staff spent weeks preparing each classroom with artwork, projects and photos of their cherished students. Each student hosted their parents and families as they toured their classrooms. “We love seeing the pride on our students faces as they bring their parents in to see their classroom”, said Natalie McAtamney, who teaches 3’s and mini 4 year olds. “It is also a joy to have the opportunity to get to know our children’s families even better.” In the courtyard outside the classrooms, students and their families were treated to ice cream, music and fun. A fantastically successful cake walk, hosted by Anthony Xavier, also took place that left many smiling as they took home scrumptious cakes donated by La Casa families. According to Dona Hamza, her four year old daughter, Ashyrina, exclaimed, “This is the best party ever!” Dona added, “Our family is having so much fun.”

LA CASA DE CRISTO CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL DEDICATES NEW PLAYGROUND

(SCOTTSDALE) - After months of planning and three weeks of site preparation, the playgrounds at La Casa de Cristo have re-opened. Much to the excitement of the students, staff and parents, the new playgrounds feature a safe, secure surface provided by FLEXGround. FLEXGround worked in sync with the Preschool to ensure a timely, worry-free experience while installing the cushiony, rubberized surface under the play structures. This new surface will provide much needed protection for the children while creating a welcome face-lift to the existing play structures.
“We are thrilled to provide this wonderful new playground surface for our children” commented Trish Langenhuizen, La Casa de Cristo Christian Preschool Director. “We are blessed to continue our mission of enabling our children to grow in a safe and nurturing environment.”
The students of La Casa de Cristo Preschool need not worry about losing any playtime in the sand as dedicated sand play areas have been established and will remain at a safe distance from the new rubberized surface to ensure the surface will continue to function and look great for years to come.
On September 7th, led in prayer by Pastor Garman of La Casa de Cristo Lutheran Church, the playgrounds were dedicated with the participation of the delighted students, staff and parents.
