Quisine Queens: Are you looking for ways to cultivate your culinary skills? This group will meet the third Tuesday of each month from 6 to 8 pm in members’ homes and create some great meals to eat together. Sassy Scrappers: Dig out your photos and get ready to spice up your albums and your life with some sassy new girlfriends. They'll help you organize and create, all the while sharing some good laughs over your recent family pictures. Share memories, share ideas, and share life. Even if you have never scrap-booked in your life and want to start....this group is for you. They will meet the first Friday of each month from 6 to 10 pm in Classroom D at church. Gamin' Gals: Taboo anyone? Outburst? Bunco? Do you have a favorite board or card game you'd like to share with some girlfriends over munchies? Gamin’ Gals will meet monthly on the first Wednesday of the month from 7 to 9 pm in room 101 at the church. For more information, contact Sheri Lawson at shelawson@cox.net. Soul Food: A program for ladies to gather monthly at noon on the second Monday to nourish their bodies and souls with fellowship, spiritual growth, and good food while building relationships with other Christian women. Chick Flickers: The special feature you are about to view has been released by the "Chick Flickers" on location. The critics are raving! We give this a five "hot tamales" rating! Join the Chick Flickers on the first Wednesday of the month from 11 am until 2 pm, or the 2nd Thursday from 6 to 9 pm, and enjoy a movie a month at various theaters. We'll meet before the movie at 9:15 am for breakfast. The evening movie is September 9, to see "The Switch" at 7:05pm at the Scottsdale 101 theaters. We'll meet at 6:15pm at Paradise Bakery for dinner before the movie. No need to rsvp, we'd love to have you join us whether for the food, the movie, or both!
Knifty Knitters: If you are a veteran knitter or want to learn...this group is for you. Come knit to your heart's content (or learn) and have fun with girlfriends. This group will meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month at church in Classroom C from 6 to 8 pm, to knit prayer shawls that will be given to women in our congregation who need encouragement. Christian Fiction Book Club: Who knew reading a captivating book and discussing it with girlfriends could be so therapeutic? Lit-n-Lattes: This evening book club meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in the Family Room of the Sanctuary. Eclectic Crafting Circle: They meet the third Wednesday of the month to create a different craft at each meeting. So, if you like to create and enjoy chatting with others, then this is the group for you. The next meeting is Wednesday, September 15 in room 103/105. They meet from 9:30-11:30am.
