  • Quisine Queens: Are you looking for ways to cultivate your culinary skills? This group will meet the third Tuesday of each month from 6 to 8 pm in members’ homes and create some great meals to eat together.   • Sassy Scrappers: Dig out your photos and get ready to spice up your albums and your life with some sassy new girlfriends. They'll help you organize and create, all the while sharing some good laughs over your recent family pictures. Share memories, share ideas, and share life. Even if you have never scrap-booked in your life and want to start....this group is for you. An Evening group meets the first Friday of each month from 6 to 10 pm in the home of Samantha Faraci.   • Gamin' Gals: Taboo anyone? Outburst? Bunco? Do you have a favorite board or card game you'd like to share with some girlfriends over munchies? Gamin’ Gals will meet monthly on the first Wednesday of the month from 7 to 9 pm in room 101 at the church. For more information, contact Sheri Lawson at shelawson@cox.net.   • Soul Food: A program for ladies to gather monthly at noon on the second Monday to nourish their bodies and souls with fellowship, spiritual growth, and good food while building relationships with other Christian women. Kierland Golf Club, 15636 Clubgate Dr. Scottsdale. Soul Food Girlfriends!

  • Chick Flickers: The special feature you are about to view has been released by the "Chick Flickers" on location. The critics are raving! We give this a five "hot tamales" rating! Join the Chick Flickers on the first Wednesday of the month from 11 am until 2 pm, or the 2nd Thursday from 6 to 9 pm, and enjoy a movie a month at various theaters. The morning movie is "Joyful Noise" at 1:20pm on Wednesday, February 1, at the North Valley Harkins (3420 E. Bell Rd.) We will meet before the movie at Denny's (3205 E. Bell Rd.) at 12:20pm for lunch. No need to rsvp,we'd love to have you join us.   • Christian Fiction Book Club: Who knew reading a captivating book and discussing it with girlfriends could be so therapeutic? Join the morning Christian fiction book club that meets on the third Wednesday of each month. For more information, contact Pat Heldt at Pheldt@cox.net or Jessica Clark at ClarksAZ@cox.net. They will be discussing Healing Sands by Nancy Rue and Steve Arterburn for February. New readers are always welcome.
  • Knifty Knitters: If you are a veteran knitter or want to learn...this group is for you. Come knit to your heart's content (or learn) and have fun with girlfriends. We knit prayer shawls that are given to women in our congregation who need encouragement.The PM Group meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at church in Classroom B from 6 to 8 pm.   • Lit-n-Lattes: This evening book club meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in the Family Room of the Sanctuary. For more information, contact Cheryl Burross at BurrossJC@q.net or Karen Clark at tockcc@cox.net.  Join us in the Family Room in the back of the Sanctuary. Enjoy coffee and good conversation with other literary ladies! They will discuss Exposure by Brandilyn Collins for February.
  • Eclectic Crafting Circle: They meet the third Wednesday of the month to create a different craft at each meeting. So, if you like to create and enjoy chatting with others, then this is the group for you. The next meeting is January 18 from 9:30-11:30am in room 201. Sign up at the Girlfriends table or contact Shannon Young at danandshannon@cox.net.They will be Prayer Journals for the upcoming Breakaway Weekend.
  • Hiker Chicks: Looking for adventure? Head on down the highway to your nearest trail. Come experience the great outdoors with trail blazing girlfriends. So many perks...exercise, beautiful scenery, and time with girlfriends. We have two groups! One meets the third Tuesday of each month.   • (NEW!) Heart Whisperers: A group of women dedicated to praying for our Girlfriends Ministry Team, leaders, members, Girlfriend Events and speakers. Prayer requests and updates are sent out via e-mail. For more information, contact Sandy Holding at sholding@lacasadecristo.com. 
  • (NEW!) Liturgical Banner Group: This is a group that is responsible for making the banners that hang in the Narthex of the Sanctuary. We will meet EVERY Monday night at 7:00pm off campus, and EVERY Tuesday morning at 9:30am in the church Sacristy behind the altar of the Sanctuary.
