Men's Hiking Group

Gents,

I hope all of you have had a great summer and are looking forward to another great hiking season!  I'm making a few minor adjustments this year, the most important of which is a commitment to being more intentional about starting in prayer before every hike to set the tone for our travels and our conversations.  The second adjustment is in the type of hikes we do.  Most of the hikes this year will be on the lower side of the difficulty scale from easy to moderate in order to hopefully get a few more guys out on the trails.  We'll still do a few tougher ones like Camelback and/or Squaw Peak later in the season, but most will be at lower elevations.  Following is the schedule for this year, I'm still working on the locations of all but the first two and I'll update the website when the rest are selected:

In light of the hectic nature of the Christmas season we'll resume our hiking schedule in January.  I hope all of you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I'll send out Evites before all of the hikes and the website at Evites will be sending the auto-reminders.  Also look for a few bonus Friday afternoon hikes as we get into 2012.  Let me know if you have any requests or if there are any major schedule conflicts with other events.  I'm looking forward to seeing you on the trail and hiking so we may know Christ.
