Upcoming Hikes

• Saturday, June 26, 6:30am to noon. - We will have our Father/Child hike on June 26th (this will not be exclusive to those w/ fathers & sons or daughters, please join us regardless of your status in this regard).  Since many of us Dads have kids with short legs we'll be doing a short hike to a creek, splashing around and having a picnic.  Location is TBD, we'll either head up to Spur Cross in Cave Creek or out to Rio Verde.  If you have a preference please let me know.  The June hike will be our last until we resume in the fall.
• Summer Weekend Backpacking Trip - I may try to plan a weekend backpacking trip this summer somewhere "up north" where it's nice and cool(er).  Please send me an email if you are interested in participating and I'll begin organizing for this.  My preference would be to leave Friday afternoon after work from Phoenix and do a night hike that night to a "base camp", day hike/explore on Saturday and hike out/return to Phoenix by Sunday evening.  I have a great location in mind but would like some other ideas before we settle on one.

April Hike

Our April hike was on April 24 in the Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area north of Cave Creek. This is in the same area we hiked last month but an entirely different route.
