Helping Kids Heal from the Hurt of Divorce

DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) is a safe and fun place for children (ages 5 through 12) whose parents are separated or divorced to learn to understand their emotions, express their feelings appropriately, and develop coping skills through games, videos, and crafts. DC4K is a 13-week program that is Christ-centered and biblically-based and is used in churches across the nation.

Diane Murphy and Jennifer Blalock-Wallert, members of La Casa and educators with the Scottsdale School system, will facilitate DC4K at La Casa.

DC4K will meet on Wednesday evenings from 6 to 7:30 pm at the church, starting August 24.
The cost is $20 per child for the 13-week program, payable at sign-up.
