Stephen Ministry is a program of our congregation that equips lay persons to provide distinctively Christian one-to-one care to those who are experiencing all kinds of life needs and circumstances.

Stephen Ministers receive 50 hours of training in important caring ministry skills and concepts. After their initial training, they are commissioned as Stephen Ministers. They are then paired with another person who is going through a life crisis. They visit this person regularly and dependably to offer Christian support and care. They are committed to preserving the confidential nature of the caring relationship. The Stephen Ministers meet together regularly for support and supervision, under the guidance of trained Stephen Leaders.
