MOPS Outreach to the Paradise Valley Food Bank
2007-2008
La Casa de Cristo MOPS made a huge difference to the operation of the food bank! The donations specifically requested from MOPS are the staples that fill food boxes on a daily basis. This past spring, the food bank was able to start a backpack program to feed needy elementary kids over the weekends. Now that those kids are able to bring home nutritious food for the weekend, they aren’t coming to school on Monday mornings too hungry to learn! It’s our goal to start another backpack program for the middle school as well.
