Our Christian Preschool is for young three-year olds through Pre-Kindergarten. This is a Preschool and not a daycare facility.  Classes meet in a specially designed one story building to the rear of the church campus.

You are welcome to visit our Preschool at any time. Contact the preschool office for more information.

Registration for 2008-2009

The priority period for registration of church members and continuing students has expired and the processing of applications is concluded.  You will receive a letter confirming your class registration very soon.

Please note that class lists and placement of children with teachers will not be formulated until late June.  We will contact parents with that information and other details regarding the beginning of the new school year in early August.

In the meantime, should you have an address or phone change during the coming months, please notify the Preschool Office.  Also, we have limited space available in certain afternoon classes, so come in for a visit.

2008-2009 Registration forms are available at the Preschool office or [GET FORM HERE] (PDF 21KB).

Please contact the Preschool Office for more specific information.

Would you like to help La Casa purchase a new parent information board without spending any extra money out of your pocket?

You can when you purchase shopping cards through the SCRIP program!

Summer Office Hours:

The Preschool Office will observe abbreviated summer hours (8:00am to noon) beginning May 28 to June 13.

The office will be closed from June 13 through August 8.  The office will reopen August 11th with shortened hours the first week only, and then resume our normal 8:00am to 3:45pm schedule after August 15th.

If you need to contact the Preschool Office outside office hours, please do not hesitate to leave a message on the machine, which is checked often.

La Casa de Cristo Christian Preschool celebrates 25 years

From its humble beginnings, La Casa de Cristo Christian Preschool has sought to serve the Lord through providing this church and the community with a quality, early childhood program.

We are a developmental preschool and have specifically designed our curriculum to meet the needs of the "whole child" socially, emotionally, cognitively, physically, and certainly spiritually.

The ELCA recently presented the preschool with a certificate commemorating this milestone with congratulations to its loyal staff for the efforts on behalf of all of the children and families. May they be blessed in their ministry.

"La Casa de Cristo Christian Preschool does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin and accords the same rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally made available to all students."

Note: The above statement was in an ad that ran in the Business Gazette from April 3 through April 10, 2008.

Philosophy

It is the philosophy and firm belief of La Casa de Cristo Christian Preschool that each child is a gift from God and shall be made to feel secure in God's abiding love and care.

Each child is a unique person with special needs and abilities. It is our overall goal to encourage the growth of the "whole child" through social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual development.  A daily schedule which includes a balance of teacher-directed and child-directed activities serves to reinforce, enrich and challenge in an environment where each child is respected as an individual.

La Casa de Cristo Christian Preschool admits students of every race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.  It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarships, program and athletic and other school-administered programs.
